4.2. CREATING A CONNECTION

The “Connect” menu (compare Figure B) can be used to establish a connection between

the PC and the ekey

TOCAhome pc unit (after selecting the correct COM interface).

This opens the window shown in Figure D. The manufacturer’s default password is

“1234” (in older versions it is “ekey”). Activate the OK button after entering the

password.

4.3. CHANGING THE PASSWORD

Use the Password menu button to change the password. You will be required to

enter the current password in order to select a new one.

The ekey

TOCAhome pc unit is positively identied. This can be, for example, in

a Word or Excel le. Selecting On + TAB inserts a tab character after each name.

Selecting On + CR inserts a new line after each name.

TIME RECORDING

ON: User activities are recorded in the TOCAtime.csv le. If the le is write pro-

tected, the data are buffered and added after the protection has been lifted. A le

named STOP can also prevent writing and the data are added from the buffer after

the STOP le is removed. (The STOP le must be in the same directory as the TO-

CAtime.csv le.) MONITOR: All registered activities are additionally output to the

right side of the program window. (compare Figure J)
